The Community Centre is located at the Peat Moors recreation ground in the Lye Valley ward. The main building dates from the post war years and the site also includes:

-  a children’s playground

-  all weather sports area with floodlights

-  a junior sized football pitch.

Nearby is the Lye Valley nature reserve. Groups which currently use the community centre include:

- Orinoco: The Oxfordshire Scrap Store, SWAP SHOP, Studio Theatre Club, Fix It Cafe, Gadget Drop In (AGE UK), ORK Martial Arts, Singing for Fun, Bullingdon Parent & Toddler Group, 7 o'clock club (MENCAP), Teeny Tigers, Bullingdon Youth (junior football), Date Palm Tree (parent/toddler group for Muslim women), Silver Shakers (over 60's), Craft & Social Group (over 60's), Creative Writing & other adult education courses (AGE UK).

The main hall and kitchen are available to hire, mainly at weekends - for children’s parties and social events. The Centre does not have a license to sell alcohol and a temporary events license has to be obtained for social events which involve selling alcohol.
